 For administrative and pastoral reasons, the diocese is geographically divided into deaneries. A deanery is a cluster of parishes in relatively close geographic proximity to each other. The Diocese of Raleigh is divided into eight deaneries. Each deanery is headed by a dean.
Holy Infant and the parishes listed here form the Piedmont Deanery. Currently, Very Reverend William Upah, V.F., pastor and supervising pastor, respectively, of St. James in Henderson and St. Joseph the Worker in Warrenton, is Dean of the Piedmont Deanery.
