For administrative and pastoral reasons, the diocese is geographically divided into deaneries. A deanery is a cluster of parishes in relatively close geographic proximity to each other. The Diocese of Raleigh is divided into eight deaneries. Each deanery is headed by a dean.
Holy Infant and the parishes listed here form the Piedmont Deanery. Currently, Very Reverend Scott McCue, V.F., pastor of St. Thomas More in Chapel Hill, is Dean of the Piedmont Deanery.
