Landings is a parish-based, lay-led ministry of welcoming returning Catholics back to the Church. It offers returning Catholics a supportive community within which they can ask questions, discuss issues, and deal with difficulties; an opportunity to be with ordinary Catholics who are trying to live their faith; and a safe environment in which to come to terms with recent changes within the Church and themselves.
A typical Landings group meets for one and a half hours per week over an eight to ten week period and consists of parishioners who have been trained in this ministry (some of whom have been away themselves and have “returned”) and inactive Catholics who are exploring the possibility of returning.
A Landings series is held as needed, typically twice a year. For more information about Landings at Holy Infant, please contact the Faith Development Office.
