Ours is a community that strives to be a stewardship parish. As we accept this challenge, we encourage all parishioners to be actively involved in the parish by sharing their "Three T's:" Time, Talent and Treasure. Your active participation and involvement is really a return of the many gifts with which God has blessed you and each of us, and it is needed to fulfill the vision and mission of the parish. This vision, as stated on the front of our weekly bulletin and elsewhere on our website is, “Together, through the grace of the Holy Spirit, we ‘Live Jesus,’ reaching out, embracing all with compassion, humility and gentleness.”
Time and Talent
We are blessed with many parishioners who willingly share their time and talents for the benefit of all of us and the greater community. But we know there's a lot of "undiscovered" talent among us, too. If that describes you, there are many ways in which to become involved.
Holy Infant has over 50 ministries in which 300+ households of all ages are active. Parishioners give of their spiritual, artistic, financial, educational, and other abilities. Our beautiful liturgies which we all enjoy do not just happen; many hours are given to make them meaningful and inspiring. Parish celebrations, too, are the result of the efforts of many people who give of their talents for everyone's benefit. Some parishioners help keep the parish running smoothly through volunteering in the Parish Center. Others help maintain the parish property (just as in our own homes, there is always something to be repaired, replaced or renovated!) These are just a few of the opportunities available for sharing your time and talent. To find a ministry where you can share your God-given gifts, see Stewardship & Evangelization Opportunities. To volunteer or for more information about any ministry, please contact the ministry coordinator.
Treasure
Much of what happens at Holy Infant requires funds. Volunteering one's time and talent--while tremendous blessings to the parish--can only do so much, and then the bills must be paid. Parishioners do, for the most part, honor their fiscal responsibilities to the parish.
We are all aware of the uneven state of the economy and the difficulties it has raised for some parishioners. Just as the economy affects each of us so, too, does it present challenges to the financial well-being of the parish. In light of this, we ask that, if you are able, you consider adding to your weekly / monthly contributions to help preserve the financial health of the parish. Our future as a parish community depends on your financial support for all that we try to accomplish as a faith community. We thank you for your past generosity and your continued support.
Electronic Funds Transfer
The Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) program facilitates regular contributions to the weekly offertory and other scheduled second collections. EFT provides a simple, time-saving way for your stewardship commitment to be planned and fulfilled on a consistent basis, even when you are away on vacation or for other reasons.
If you are not currently participating, please consider enrolling in EFT, and as a thank you, receive a FREE bag of Guatemalan coffee grown at the mission we support in San Lucas Toliman. As a part of your decision-making, you may wish to review the frequently asked questions. For other questions or additional information, please contact the parish bookkeeper.
Thank You!
We understand that you may be able to contribute more in one area of the Three T's than another, and we truly appreciate all gifts that you are able to share. For additional information on how the Three T's are shared at Holy Infant, please see our annual Time Talent Treasure report.
