Are you seeking a deeper connection to God through the quiet strength of gentle spirituality? Do you long to live your daily life more intentionally, grounded in the Gospel and open to the whisper of the Holy Spirit?
The Daughters are part of the Association of St. Francis de Sales, a global spiritual family rooted in the teachings of the “Gentle Saint,” St. Francis de Sales. This international lay association includes members in 24 countries around the world. Here in North Carolina, a local group was approved in November 2018 and is actively welcoming new members.
Lay Catholic women—whether single, married, or widowed—are invited to journey together, supporting one another in living out Salesian spirituality in everyday life. As Daughters, members strive to infuse their lives with the humble wisdom of St. Francis de Sales, seeking holiness through gentleness, patience, and love.
Our North Carolina group has chosen Madame Caroline Carré, the foundress of the Daughters, as our patron. Her words inspire our way of being:
“Be delicately attentive to the least whisper of the Holy Spirit.”
If you feel a nudge to deepen your spiritual life in the company of other women committed to growing in faith, peace, and holy simplicity, we invite you to learn more. Come walk with us on the path of the Daughters of St. Francis de Sales.
