Organ Dedication Sunday, October 27th at 3pm!

The dedication recital of the new organ will be Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 3pm in the Church. It will feature organist Rudy Lucente, who is the designer of the particular model of our organ at Holy Infant, the Allen RL-66.
Rudy Lucente is a concert artist and church musician who has been serving congregations and entertaining audiences nationally and internationally for decades. Currently in his 46th year at the console, Rudy has the distinction of being the longest continually serving assistant grand court organist for the Wanamaker Organ at Macy’s Department Store in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. An internationally known recitalist, he has performed for an audience of over two thousand people at a concert in the Cathedral of Valladolid in Spain. Closer to home, Rudy thrills crowds with his performances on the organs at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania and Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He also has coordinated organ demonstrations for special tour groups at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. As a recitalist, Rudy is known for his “family friendly” presentations and dedication programs. Rudy is a highly respected consultant to many church musicians in the Philadelphia area and serves as the Director of Liturgical Music at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Community in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
